NYFW Day 6: A Touch Of Vintage

I recently found this fabulous golden hued blouse at an antique store in Northwestern New Jersey (one of my favorite places to hunt for goodies!). I paired it with boyfriend jeans (bought a year ago at H&M) and finished the look with strappy nude heels. Rounding out my look is this fantastic Bakari clutch.

NYFW Day 5: Furry Sleeves

I love a great statement top. When I found this eye turning sweatshirt at Zara, I knew I couldn’t say no (and at only $40 it was a no brainer!). I dressed it up with a sleek midi leather skirt (also from Zara and sold out), simple black strappy heels, and a studded Zara clutch (old). A fur sleeved sweatshirt is a fun eye-popping top that is super versatile, and very on trend right now for fall. Shop some of my favorites below:

NYFW Day 3: Leather And Lace

Leather and lace are two of my favorite fabrics and I absolutely love pairing the two together. They really are complete opposites but somehow they mesh so well together. I love the mixture of masculine and feminine. I adore this dress by Hope & Ivy from ASOS, and this leather jacket is one of my favorites from Zara. The moto jacket tones down the lace dress and adds a touch of toughness. Shop my NYFW Day 3 look below:

NYFW Day 1: Classic With A Flare

For the first day of NYFW I decided to keep things classic with a fun pop of flare (as in my favorite Style Mafia ultra flare trousers). I paired the powerful pants down with a simple white button down (vintage) and a classic waistcoat dress from Zara. Finishing off my look is a fabulously unique clutch by Bakari. The result was a classic and chic ensemble that made a subtle statement. And YES, that is Cindy Crawford posing with me!! Still pinching myself that I had a chance to meet my favorite 90’s supermodel. Yes, she is just as perfect looking in person (not to mention insanely tall) and she couldn’t have…

Mixing Textures: Ruffles And Fringe

I love mixing two contrasting textures together and receiving an unexpected perfect juxtaposition. That’s exactly what happened with this look. I loved Banana Republic’s fun twist on this classic button down by adding a ruffle sleeve. I paired this blouse with eye turning Zara trousers with just the right touch of fringe (you don’t want to look like a cowboy, so there’s a fine line). The result was magical! Try pairing together different textures and prints you would normally never consider mixing, and you might just end up with a perfect match. Shop my outfit below:
